The prototype scooter I built lasted around a year before suffering damage in the motor wires and failing.

Specs: 350w front motor, FWD, max speed 20mph.

I simply bent the front fork to allow me to insert the hub motor, and no welding was necessary. (We do not have a welding kit.)

The project took around 2 weeks to finish, without any AutoCAD design and required maintenance(lubrication) every two weeks since then.

Final functioning build with battery box, scotch tape since it was in testing.
